Jirayr Azizyan was an Armenian freedom fighter and scout, born on May 24, 1972, in Martuni, Nagorno-Karabakh. He was known for his involvement in the Armenian struggle during the early 1990s conflict. Jirayr was the brother of Grisha Azizyan and he played a vital role in the military activities in his region. Tragically, his life was cut short when he died on January 26, 1994, in Martuni, highlighting the sacrifices made by individuals in conflict situations.
