Jiro Kosugi (March 25, 1915 - February 17, 1981) was a prominent Japanese industrial designer known for his work in designing passenger cars and trucks for Toyo Kogyo (now Mazda), scooters for New Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and sewing machines for Juki Corporation. He is recognized as a representative of the first generation of Japanese industrial designers. In 2019, 38 years after his passing, he was posthumously inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame, honoring his contributions to the field.
