Joan Viñas i Bona was a prominent Spanish communicator known for his work as a radio announcer and television presenter. He gained fame for the RNE Charity Campaign and children's programs during the 1950s-70s. He began his radio career at Ràdio Girona in 1940, then joined RNE in 1943. Viñas was instrumental in establishing the Barcelona station and supported various radio projects, including sports broadcasts and theater. He received three Ondas Awards and played a key role in public relations, including the founding of Spain's first PR agency. He served as a deputy in the Catalan Parliament until his death in 2002.
