Jochen Blume was a German photographer and retired professor, born on February 28, 1925, in Hannover and passed away on April 4, 2018, in Hamburg. After being released from Soviet captivity in 1948, he worked as a press photographer for various news agencies, including Bildzeitung and Stern. From 1973, he taught photography at the Hamburg University of Design, while also serving as a lecturer at the Academy for Journalism in Hamburg. He had a long-term photographic relationship with Stern.
