Jochen Förster is a retired slalom canoeist from East Germany, born on 7 November 1942 in Zwickau. He competed during the 1960s and 1970s and achieved significant success, winning three medals in the C-1 team event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships: one gold in 1971, one silver in 1967, and one bronze in 1965. Additionally, Förster is known for finishing fourth in the C-1 event at the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich.
