Jodie Ounsley, born on January 17, 2001, is an English former rugby union player known for playing as a winger for Exeter Chiefs Women. She made history in 2019 by becoming the first deaf female rugby player to represent a senior England team and the world's first deaf female rugby sevens international. An accomplished athlete, she is also a former British Brazilian jiu jitsu champion and appeared as 'Fury' in the 2024 BBC One reboot of Gladiators. Additionally, Ounsley is an advocate for deaf children and has undertaken several inspiring initiatives.
