Joseph Billingslea, Jr. (born November 14, 1937) is an American singer best known for founding and being the lead singer of the R&B band The Contours. He established the group in 1959, which gained fame for its 1962 hit single 'Do You Love Me'. Billingslea's contributions to music have left a lasting impact, particularly within the R&B genre.
