Joe Jimenez (1926-2007) was an American professional golfer celebrated for winning the 1978 PGA Seniors' Championship. Born in Kerrville, Texas, he was of Mexican American descent and graduated from Trinity University in 1952. Active on the PGA Tour throughout the 1950s to 1970s, Jimenez served as the club pro at Jefferson City Country Club for many years. He holds a significant record for being the youngest player to shoot below his age on a major circuit at age 65. He passed away at 81 due to complications from cancer.
