Joel K. Goldman is an American author and former trial attorney born on October 23, 1952. He attended Shawnee Mission East High School, where he was active in debate and also studied at the University of Kansas, participating in Moot Court. Goldman has a tic disorder, which he integrated into his Jack Davis series. In September 2014, he co-founded Brash Books with Lee Goldberg to publish previously out-of-print acclaimed crime novels by various authors.
