Johannes Margido Jønland (1901-1985) was a Norwegian civil engineer, bus owner, and politician. Educated in mechanical engineering, he started a bus company with his family in 1940 and established ferry traffic in Nøtterøy. During World War II, he served in the coast artillery and led air defense operations. He was later appointed mayor by occupying authorities but was arrested by Germans in 1943. After the war, he faced legal repercussions for his collaboration. Jønland is remembered for his contributions to local transportation and his wartime experiences.
