John William Agrue was an American serial killer, born on September 11, 1947, and died on June 29, 2009. He murdered at least two women in Longmont, Colorado, in 1982 after having previously served 14 years for murdering his sister-in-law in 1966. Agrue was arrested for attempted kidnapping in July 1982 but was only convicted for that crime at the time. His connection to the Colorado murders was established through DNA evidence many years later, in the early 2010s.
