John Andrew is an Irish professional rugby union player born on May 6, 1993, in Ballymena. He plays as a hooker for Ulster. A graduate of the Ballymena Academy, he helped his team win the Ulster Schools' Cup in 2010. He represented Ireland at the under-19 level and was part of the 2013 Six Nations Under 20s Championship squad. Coming through the Ulster academy, he made his senior debut in 2014 and signed a full contract in 2017. Known for his strong performance in the 2020–21 season, he scored seven tries and extended his contract in January 2021.
