John Astle is an American politician from Maryland and a member of the Democratic Party, born on March 31, 1943. He currently serves as a State Senator for his fourth term representing Anne Arundel County, the thirtieth district of Maryland. Astle had a distinguished 30-year military career before retiring, but was later recalled to active duty during Operation Desert Storm.
