John Kristian Becker (May 2, 1915 – July 20, 1986) was a Danish designer, weaver, and author. He received a thorough craft education from Gerda Henning and Geismar. Becker focused on damask weaving, experimenting with various textiles throughout his career. His production included table linens, carpets, and church textiles, with the latter being particularly successful. He collaborated with Georg Jensen Damask, producing over 35 designs, including the notable 'Vildrose', released in a new color in 2003. Becker's work is celebrated for its innovative approach to traditional weaving.
