John William 'Buck' Wilkin (1946-2024) was an American singer-songwriter and session musician known for his early work on the Ozark Jubilee television program. He gained prominence with his hit song 'GTO' in 1964 as part of Ronny & the Daytonas. Later, he embarked on a solo career with his album 'In Search of Food, Clothing, Shelter and Sex' and contributed to Dennis Hopper’s 'The Last Movie.' Throughout the 1990s, he returned to performing with Ronny & the Daytonas, continuing to influence the music scene.
