John Calabro (1914–1994) was an American artist and sculptor known for his work in creating coins, medals, plaques, and statues. He was commissioned to create a bust of former Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, which is part of the United States Senate Vice Presidential Bust Collection. Born into a family of artists, he studied at Cooper Union and Milan's Academy of Fine Arts. Calabro's works often featured themes from politics and sports, including Abraham Lincoln and Babe Ruth. He had a studio designed for natural light in Northvale, New Jersey, where he completed most of his artwork.
