John Ernest Cribb was an Australian triple murderer who committed heinous crimes in 1978, including the rape and murder of Valda Connell and the murder of her children, Sally and Damien, in Swansea, New South Wales. He was born on 5 August 1950 and became notorious for these acts. Upon his death on 21 February 2018, Cribb was serving three consecutive life sentences plus an additional 45 years for his crimes, in addition to facing numerous other legal offenses.
