John Cupido is a South African politician born on June 20, 1976, representing the Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Eastern Cape Provincial Parliament. He serves as the Shadow MEC of Health and is the DA's spokesperson for Economic Development, Environmental Affairs & Tourism, while also acting as spokesperson for Sports, Recreation, Arts & Culture. Initially elected as a City Councillor in 2006, Cupido led the Buffalo City DA Caucus before transitioning to the Provincial Legislature after the 2009 General Election at the age of 32.
