John Michael Damberg, born on February 12, 1958, in Bramming, Denmark, is a Danish police officer and local politician. He grew up in Løgumkloster and served in the Royal Life Guards before joining the police force. He worked as a police officer in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands, and later in Samsø, Denmark. Damberg was a member of the Kunoy municipal council from 1997 to 2012, serving as deputy mayor and then mayor. He has also served in UN peacekeeping forces in Yugoslavia and the Middle East.
