John DeVries was an American lyricist, interior designer, and illustrator known for his collaboration with pianist Joe Bushkin. He wrote notable lyrics for the song "Oh! Look at Me Now," famously performed by Frank Sinatra in 1941. During World War II, he co-wrote "There'll be a Hot Time in the Town of Berlin." DeVries also designed interiors for prominent New Yorkers and jazz clubs, particularly notable during the 1970s. In addition, he illustrated for various advertising campaigns, books, and music publications, including album covers.
