John David Dungs (1952–2014) was a Nigerian Army colonel and a prominent political figure who served as Military Governor of Delta State from 1996 to 1998 during General Sani Abacha's regime. He was involved in the multinational force in Liberia in 1990 and ran unsuccessfully for political offices in 2007 and 2012. Known for his contributions to industry, he founded Langfield Group Limited. Dungs died on May 2, 2014, shortly after his father's death. He also played a role in creating local government areas in Plateau State.
