Over the years, he held several key positions, including Chief Executive and Chairman of Ford of Europe from 2005 to 2009, during which time he oversaw significant product launches like the Ford Mondeo and the sixth generation of the Ford Fiesta. He retired in December 2015 and is married with three children.
