John Gosling was a British organist and pianist, born on February 6, 1948, in Paignton, Devon, England. He joined The Kinks in 1970 and left in 1978 to form his own band, Network, which recorded an unreleased album for Phonogram. From 1994 to 2008, he performed with The Kast Off Kinks alongside other former Kinks members. Besides his music career, Gosling also taught music in a school in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. He passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 75.
