John H. Eastwood was an American author, seminary professor, army chaplain, and church pastor born on May 12, 1911, in rural Nebraska. He earned a Doctor of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1941 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Eastwood led the 464th Bombardment Group and later became the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hammond, Indiana, where he significantly grew the church's congregation. He passed away on February 13, 2007.
