John Andrew Hawley is a retired Anglican priest who served as the Archdeacon of Blackburn from 2002 to 2015. He received his education from Ecclesfield Grammar School and King's College London, later training at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. Ordained in 1976, Hawley served in various curacies in Hull and Bradford before becoming Vicar of All Saints in Doncaster and Team Rector in Dewsbury, prior to his archidiaconal appointment.
