John Horton, born Jean-Pierre Herfs, is a Flemish singer from Halle, born on May 18, 1952. He gained fame in Flanders and Spain, achieving seven hits in the VRT Top 30 in the early '70s, with his breakthrough single 'Zo jong' in 1972. He sang in both Flemish and English and transitioned to real estate after the rise of disco music. Horton made a comeback in 1986 with 'Als zich een man eenzaam voelt.' He lived in Spain from 1991 to 2005 and is the uncle of Flemish singers Christoff and Lindsay.
