John Ingvar Lövgren, later known as John Ingvar Andersson, was a Swedish serial killer and rapist who confessed to four murders committed in the Stockholm region between 1958 and 1963. He was known as Flickmördaren, or 'The Girl Killer,' due to his last two victims being young girls. Lövgren was sentenced to closed psychiatric treatment at Salberga prison. He had been out of treatment due to his poor health at the time of his death in 2002, and he was buried at Sala cemetery.
