John Charles Jones (3 May 1904 - 13 October 1956) was a Welsh cleric who served as the Bishop of Bangor from 1949 until his death. Born in Llansaint, Carmarthenshire, he was educated at Carmarthen Grammar School, Cardiff University, and Wadham College, Oxford. After being ordained in 1930, he served as a curate in Llanelli and Aberystwyth before becoming a missionary in Uganda. He returned to Wales in 1945 and was consecrated as Bishop, notably the first ceremony to be conducted in Welsh.
