John Kizirian was a distinguished member of the United States Armed Forces for over three decades, serving in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 17, he transitioned to the Army in 1949, eventually becoming a sergeant. Kizirian led troops in combat during major conflicts and served as an intelligence officer in Vietnam. Retiring as a Colonel in 1975, he returned to duty as a defense representative in Indonesia from 1980 to 1984. He received numerous awards, making him one of the most decorated officers in U.S. military history.
