John Mason is a British politician born on May 15, 1957, in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Scottish National Party and was elected as a Member of Parliament for Glasgow East during the 2008 by-election. Mason served in the UK Parliament from July 25, 2008, to April 12, 2010. He was also elected to the Scottish Parliament for the Glasgow Shettleston constituency in 2011 and again in 2016, continuing to represent the Scottish National Party throughout his terms.
