John Charles McIntosh, CBE, FRSA, born on February 6, 1946, was the Headmaster of The London Oratory School for 29 years, retiring on December 31, 2006. He was educated at Ebury School, Shoreditch College, and Sussex University. McIntosh began his career at the London Oratory School as an Assistant Master for Mathematics in 1967 and quickly progressed through the ranks, becoming Deputy Headmaster in 1971 and Headmaster in 1977.
