John Murray was an Australian farmer and politician born on December 31, 1915, in Malvern, Victoria, Australia. He was an active member of the Liberal Party of Australia and served as a member of the Australian House of Representatives for the Herbert electorate from November 22, 1958, to December 9, 1961. Later, he was elected to the Queensland Legislative Assembly for the Clayfield electorate during the 1963 state election, serving from June 1, 1963, until February 11, 1976. He passed away on January 25, 2009, in the Gold Coast, Australia.
