John Anders Rydberg was a Swedish engineer born on March 20, 1908, in Värmskog, Värmland. He graduated from Karlstad in 1927 and earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in 1932, later becoming a technology doctor in 1942. Rydberg worked as a bureau engineer and special teacher, eventually serving as a professor in heating and ventilation technology from 1947 to 1974. He contributed articles to technical journals and was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in 1958.
