John David Schriffen is an American sports broadcaster known for his work with the Chicago White Sox on NBC Sports Chicago and ESPN. He covers collegiate sports and KBO League baseball. Previously, he was a reporter for CBS Sports and hosted 'That Other Pre Game Show' on CBS Sports Network. Schriffein, who is biracial, makes history as the second Black television play-by-play announcer in Major League Baseball, following Seattle’s Dave Sims.
