John Seville Higgins was an American bishop in the Episcopal Church. He served as coadjutor bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island from 1953 to 1954, followed by his role as diocesan bishop from 1955 until 1972. Born on April 14, 1904, Higgins dedicated his life to spiritual leadership and the growth of the church until his passing on December 28, 1992.
