John Mueneni Shaetonhodi is a former Namibian politician and trade unionist, born on May 1, 1949, in what was then South West Africa. He was a member of the SWAPO party and served as Minister of Labour and Social Development in the Nujoma II Cabinet from 1997 to 1999. His contributions to the community are honored through a school named after him in the Ongenga constituency.
