John Snedker is a Danish social democratic politician from Bryndum near Esbjerg. He served on the Esbjerg City Council from 1982 to 1994 and again from 2006 to 2021. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 2019. An educator by profession, he worked as a school teacher and later as the center director for the Center for Teaching Resources at UC SYD until 2018. He has also been a strategic unit leader and was a lead candidate for the Social Democrats in several municipal elections.
