He is known for his work at ABC News and Fox Business Channel, where his style combines reporting and commentary. Stossel advocates for libertarian political philosophy and free-market economics. His journalism career began at KGW-TV, followed by WCBS-TV as a consumer reporter, and he later joined ABC News as a correspondent and co-anchor for 20/20. In October 2009, he left ABC to host a weekly news show on Fox Business until December 2016.
