John Swiderski, born on May 15, 1975, in Cleveland, Ohio, is a notable video game developer and founder of Mean Hamster Software. Starting at age 10, he developed games for the Commodore 64 and later the Amiga. After a hiatus in 1993, he returned to the industry in 1999, creating new Atari 5200 game cartridges. He contributed to Pocket PC games, notably Myst, and produced several casual games such as Pet Shop Hop. Alongside his work in gaming, he served as a board member for the Washington Materials Management and Funding Authority.
