John Vievermans is a former Dutch professional footballer born on August 25, 1959, in Heerlen. He played for N.E.C. from 1981 to 1988, initially starting at SV Venray. Though primarily a left midfielder, he often played as a central defender or left-back. After leaving professional football, he won a championship at SV Venray and later played for German clubs. Vievermans now works in sports clothing production at Reebok and is an accomplished tennis player in the senior circuit.
