John Walther Rasch was a Danish drug dealer sentenced to life in prison for arranging a murder in 1980. The victim, prostitute Michelle Andersson, was killed with 24 knife wounds due to her informing the police about the drug environment in Copenhagen. Rasch was convicted alongside the murderer, Jørgen Rosenbæk Jørgensen. While serving his time at Horsens Statsfængsel, Rasch contributed to the prison library, worked on internal radio productions, and was an avid painter. He died after 12 years in prison at the age of 46 without the possibility of parole.
