John Weaver is an American political consultant born around 1959. He is known for his involvement in the John McCain presidential campaigns of 2000 and 2008. Weaver also worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and served as the chief strategist for John Kasich's 2016 presidential campaign. In 2019, he co-founded The Lincoln Project, a super PAC opposing Donald Trump's re-election. However, he resigned in January 2021 following accusations of online harassment and misconduct involving multiple men.
