Johnny Araya is an American bassist born on March 10, 1969, in Los Angeles. He is known for being a member of the death metal band Thine Eyes Bleed. Johnny is the brother of Tom Araya, who is the bassist and singer for the thrash metal band Slayer. In 2006, both bands performed together during the 'The Unholy Alliance' tour, which included other notable bands such as Lamb of God, Mastodon, In Flames, and Children of Bodom.
