John Wesley McAdams was an American professional basketball player born on April 15, 1912. He played in the National Basketball League for the Akron Goodyear Wingfoots from 1937 to 1940, where he averaged 2.1 points per game. McAdams was part of the team that won the NBL championship in the 1937–38 season. In addition to basketball, he attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where he also played baseball. He passed away on October 18, 1975.
