A pioneer of calligraphy courses in Flanders, she facilitated notable foreign calligraphers' involvement and organized the 'Internationale Grote Prijs Kalligrafie.' Additionally, she was the long-time editor of 'Letternieuws,' the journal of Kalligrafia. She is married with five children.
