Dima Conservatory in Cluj in 1963 and has been a member of the Union of Composers since 1976. He is married to Roxana Aura and has two children, Andrei and Melinda. His notable works include songs like 'Copacul' performed by Aurelian Andreescu and 'Tăcutele iubiri' sung by Eva Kiss. In 2009, he was celebrated at the Sala Palatului in a musical event titled 'O viață pentru muzică'.
