Jón Múli Árnason (1921–2002) was a prominent Icelandic radio broadcaster known for his voice on Ríkisútvarpið for nearly four decades. He was also a writer, authoring a three-volume autobiography titled 'Þjóðsögur Jóns Múla.' Born in Vopnafjörður, he was involved in music and politics, being a member of the Socialist Party. He formed the labor band in 1953 and was recognized for his contributions to various cultural initiatives in Iceland. Jón Múli was married three times and had four daughters.
