He secured a bronze medal in the 200m at the 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie and reached the semifinals of both the 100m and 200m at the 2014 African Athletics Championships held in Marrakech, Morocco. Presently, he holds the title of the fastest actively competing Mauritian sprinter in the 200m with a personal best of 20.85 seconds, ranking third overall in Mauritius history.
