Jong Yong-hyok is a North Korean pair skater born on January 3, 1988. He competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics with partner Phyo Yong-myong, but they withdrew after the short program. Jong had previously qualified for the Olympics with Sung Mi-hyang, who was not age-eligible, leading him to switch partners temporarily. He returned to compete with Sung after the Olympics and has also skated with Jang Kyong-ok and Paek Mi-hyang. Jong is a multiple-time national champion in North Korea, winning titles between 2004 and 2009.
