Joralf Gjerstad (1926-2021) was a Norwegian self-identified psychic and faith healer from Snåsa, known as 'the man with warm hands' or 'Snåsamannen'. His healing abilities were attributed to his Christian faith. Gjerstad worked as a control assistant on a dairy farm and at Snåsa church. He was a local politician and wrote several local history books. Advocating for the disabled, he co-founded a help fund. A documentary on his abilities aired in 2006, and he received significant recognition, including a King’s medal and a renovated childhood home as a museum.
